Polly confident of world walk success
A 38-year-old American woman who visited Great Lakes this week on a walk around the world to raise funds for cancer research said only "sickness, Mack truck or government intervention" will keep her from successfully completing her mission. Polly Letofsky pounded into Forster from Pacific Palms on Monday afternoon declaring that she hadn't even suffered "a sniffle" to date, having completed 5200 of a scheduled 29,000 kilometres. Her feet were "in great shape" and physically, mentally and emotionally she was sure she would realise her ambition.
"I see my goal so clearly that potential problems haven't even entered my head. I'll make it, if I have anything to do with it," she vowed
